Overview

Devs HQ is an internal application used by employees of Dev’s Coffee Bar to run day-to-day operations — inventory, scheduling, labor and sales reporting, training, team communication, and related tools. It is intended for our staff and requires a Dev’s Coffee Bar account to use. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.

Information we collect

Account & profile: your name, email, role/permissions, work location, and an optional profile photo.
Content you submit: photos you take or upload (for example, receipt images) and messages you send in team chat.
Operational data: schedules, time/labor and sales figures, inventory and equipment records used to run the business.
Training & activity: module progress, quiz results, XP, streaks, and game scores.
Notifications: a device push token so we can send work-related reminders (you can turn these off).
Basic diagnostics: limited device and app-usage information needed for reliability and security.

How we use information

To provide and operate the app’s features, schedule and manage staff, track operations and training, send work-related notifications, secure accounts, and improve the product. We do not use this information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

How information is shared

We share information only with service providers that help us run the app, under their terms: Supabase (authentication, database, and file storage), Toast (point-of-sale data for labor and sales reporting), and Expo (delivery of push notifications). We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the business and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Security

Access is restricted to authorized staff and protected with industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections and role-based permissions. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your choices

You can disable push notifications in the app’s settings or your device settings. To access, correct, or delete your information, contact us using the details below.

Children

Devs HQ is a workplace tool for our staff and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
